The American Yacht Institute’s Yacht Services provides a five-day “Super Yacht Crew Course” for stewards, stewardesses, deckhands, and cooks for the privately owned super yachts. With the help of yacht employment agencies, the school assists students in seeking placement. An employer file is available to students at any time in their career and the administration office refers prospective employers to you as well.

The American Yacht Institute’s advisory board consists of captains, owners, and brokers in the industry. We take enthusiastic pride in our commitment to the quality of our student’s education and to their success onboard yachts. We feel strongly about the welfare and career structuring of yacht personnel which is why we educate genuine professionals through quality instruction.

The American Yacht Institute is setting a professional standard for yacht crew. Interior and exterior staff learn the basics of what is expected of them.
